The ash of your loved one will be incorporated into a picture of your choice, blended in with the paint creating a texture on rocks, gardens, trees etc. A photograph or description of the scene which has significance or memories will be interpreted with, if required, a suggestion of the person included in the painting.
The material used is mainly acrylic paint.

We are aware that we will be entrusted with the remains of a very special treasure and undertake to give respect and dignity at all time to your loved one.

The artists fee depends on the size, work involved plus choice of frame, sorry no commissions for pets.

Val Thompson is a Sunderland lady who has a passion for painting. Ash2art was formed after the idea for a painting incorporating ash was proposed by her brother Jim. A relation lost her husband and was wanting something special to remember him by. She fondly recollected John having “sundowners” in his deckchair enjoying the sunset in their favourite cove. When she was presented with the painting she was delighted.
